FAQ

Question:

What is an 'Impression'

Answer:

An impression in advertising is when an ad is displayed on a screen, giving someone the opportunity to see it, whether they engage with it or not.

Question:

Where are the Ads being displayed?

Answer:

There are various tv screens inside of businesses in the community.

Question:

How to know if my event/info is a community event?

Answer:

If you sell something, such as information, events, things, or services, and make a living from it, it might not qualify for the free Community events listing. However, there are some exceptions to this rule. For instance, a garage sale qualifies because it’s personal, even though it sells items, and a church bake sale qualifies because the church is a charity.

Another example is if a business sells a product and donates all proceeds to a cause or charity, it qualifies. Selling an item doesn’t qualify because it’s not a community event. For example, a restaurant selling food does not qualify for a free Community event listing unless it is for a charity and the proceeds are being donated to a cause.

Your event must have a start and end time, be structured for a specific day or multi-day, and be an actual event people can attend or participate in to qualify for the free Community events listing. If the main purpose is to drive foot or web traffic to your store or site, it doesn’t qualify unless you’re hosting a charity event or donating most or all proceeds to a cause or charity. A free Community class, like a cooking class hosted by a restaurant, would qualify.

Question:

What if multiple people pooled money to place an order?

Answer:

Many hands make light work! What a great idea! Each order can have up to 3 images/banners, so 3 divided by the cost is much more manageable. Marvel Mirror is not responsible any agreements, and the images will not run until payment is made in full.
